It doesn't make sense why someone would be so happy about a shifter handle and post about it at the same time there is another thread going on full of examples of the shops questionable reputation. Please don't curse at me. I was just pointing out the suspicious timing of this post. Did you actually take the time to read the links above? I didn't write what's in those links so don't get mad at me. They're all threads with posts from the apex customers, owners, and employees. Not my words, but theirs so don't go running off at the mouth on me.

Post a link to the contest on another forum prove your claim. There was a thread on this topic a while ago and no one could come up with another contest link besides the one on cafords. It was accepted as yet another apex scam.

That looks like a different prize for a different website to me. The lie in question is the cafords $100 prize, not the stallon computer chip contest. Who knows who won the computer chip, but we were told the $100 cafords prize was won by a mystery out of state person that happens to browse and enter contests in forums for northern california ford owners. The whole story just sounded fishy to everyone, that's all.

but if you can honestly look me in the eyes and say everything looks fine with this shop, I 'd think you're in on the scams with the rest of them. There are simply too many people with too many stories. I appologise if I'm wrong, but in my eyes I'm just providing information to my ford brothers allow them to make better educated decisions. That's what the ford brotherhood is all about right?

I think I have said everything that could be said on this thread. Good luck to who ever and what ever you guys out there go with to modify your cars. So far I've been very happy with this shop just 30 feet away from me called MY GARAGE. The owner is cool and won't call my boss to get my fired after reading this thread or make up scam contests. MY GARAGE has Excellent service and UPS drops off parts from Summit in 1-2 days with prices and a selection that can't be beat. I've asked many mustang guys with really fast cars what shop does their work and they always say "MY GARAGE".

Same thing I posted in the other Apex thread, Im having a complete motor built by Apex, I have received nothing but good customer service. Ed keeps me informed and calls me keeping me updated on the build up. After knotts my car is going back for a 6spd and a new rearend.

Well honestly,, I find NoManrz post kinda helpful. I am actually contemplating having a engine built and tranny upgrade after my paint and a few other things. And I would just like to avoid any problems so I am just kinda lurking on threads like this to see what is what when the time comes. For example I hear alot of good things about JohnB (I may ask him when the time comes), and no one bashes for the praises. So why bash for the disses same info just the other side of the spectrum. If you had a good experience say it and move on, you actually become one of those E-Thugs when you get bent out of shape and curse folks for voicing their opinion. I know Apex wont care about 1 lonely person, but I doubt I would bring my car there for anything. Nothing personal to any of the owners and I know some people may just be riding the band wagon, but where there is smoke there is bound to be fire, so........

You're correct Inspector. I haven't. Because every time our shop name comes up, people like you do stuff like this. Even when the post is positive, you turn it into a negative thing. If you don't like us this much don't post. People who previously didn't like us, are now supporting is, and it's 'suspicisous'? You know, we're also in charge of cover-up's at Area 51 and the Kennedy assassination.

Apex is the shit. I had my car there for a clutch/flywheel/pilotbearing. I went in as scheduled, and Dave had me in & out in less than 2hrs. They asked me to test drive it around the block and come back to let them know if everything was ok. It was and I was pleased. This was over 2months ago. I payed Chris, thanked Dave and was on my way.
I'm going back there for a cage, subframes, and coilovers.
Every shop has it's issues, but I know first hand that the owner is just the owner. The guys who actually run the place(Mario, Chris, Dave, Ed) do excellent work. Don't let the owners behavior on the internet give you a sour taste for the shop. I always recommend it, and I wasn't a fan of the old ownership years ago

i guess the big problem that a lot of people has with apex is there owner not apex itself, so like i said before i dont have a problem with apex or there workers (shit my friend works there)but with mike but that's just a different story, so if u guys have beef with mike then talk to him, email or whatever but just leave apex out of it cause they are honest workers like chris that run that shop not mike [patriot]

shit, chris personally escorted me to be pickup some brake rotors for my wifes 01 GT. he made sure that the parts were right, papers signed, and i got what i needed for my brake job i was gonna do.

during my dyno tune, i was at work, and he would consistantly call me to give me updates, and how my car was pulling. i was hoping to get over the 300rwhp mark, and he called me and told me i hit 317rwhp with the APEX SCT tune.
