I wrecked my car tonight aproximately 11:30 in Vallejo on 80-E. I just got on to the freeway. I barely exceeded 60 mph, and I was at 4k rpm. Next thing I know it, I'm fishtailing, I try to gain control, I get on the brakes, then I'm on my driver side on the side of the freeway, facing the opposite direction of the traffic. While my car is against the fence.
I made it out fine. I got a little cut on my finger from the windshield. My airbags did not deploy.
Well, I'll be in another Mustang soon hopefully.
Edit: I appreciated everyones kind words and overall support. I'll be back in a Mustang eventually. [ March 26, 2006, 09:56 PM: Message edited by: 02GeeTee ]

Glad you are ok. Car can be replaced. I was drving from Napa to Sac tonight in my Expedition and was hydro-planing all over the road only going 50mph. There was a stretch by David there was 4 accidents in less than a quarter of a mile!! [ March 25, 2006, 04:25 AM: Message edited by: Dag302 ]

Fukk that sucks, sorry to hear about that. If any of you guys are coming through San Mateo BE CAREFUL ON HWY 92, it's especially dangerous when it rains. My house over looks a stretch of it and I constantly hear sirens.

What I dont get Raj, is why the FACK were you around 4k rpms in the rain, i try not to go over 2500 rpms in any wet conditions, and that was even before I wrecked my other cobra, i dont give a shite man, ill get on the highway going 40mph and cruise at 50-55mph in 6th gear at 1500 rpms.
Hopefully you only get 1 point on your record and your rates wont go up, but if you go to the doctor through your insurance company it will cost you 2 points and your rates will nearly double!!!
Glad you are OK though young grasshopper!

Raj, I'm sorry to hear about you misfortune . I'll just reiterate everyone else and say "Im glad you're ok" . Cars can be replaced. I was drivin' the Cobra last night at around the same time and it was rainin' SOOOOO FN hard. I barely was over 35-40 or so on the freeway...and STILL hydroplaning all over the place . I'm sure that you'll be back in the game in no time. Take care in the meantime

sucks you wrecked the car man. It was a terrible ride home this morning. I drove 45 mph on the freeway as I kept hitting pockets of water and hydroplanning.
