Just do it in your driveway, and dont cut or heat the springs... I'm sorry, that's just cheap in my book.

I was planning on buyng new springs. I would try do do it myself but I have no where to do it... plus I dont even think I have a car jack. Im not really worried about the price but it would be nice to save as much as possible. I dont have new springs yet so im looking to buy them and have them installed hopefully all at the same time.

The only place I know of in San Jose is Apexmotorsports. They ónly do by appointments on Saturdays and they are not open on Sundays. As far as prices, It would most depend on what Brand of springs you want to go with and how low you want to go. I can recommend Eibach Sportline springs as that is what I have on 00'GT and it looks nicely dropped with my 18'Bullits 18x9 front and 18x10 rears. Lowered the car almost 2" inches. Springs cost me about $250.00 with 1hr worth of labor. Hope this helps.

If you want, I'll install lowering springs for $80...You supply the springs and I'll do it in my garage at my house in Livermore...I've lowered quite a few Mustang and it would only take a few hours....
Good luck...PM me if you like....
