i was thinking about getting some black saleens for the notch but im undecided if they look good. What do you guys think? Also, I kind of wanted FR500s but dont want to hassle with the back orders. Any suggestions? How do they look?

IMHO! I think all black wheels look like SHIT! If it is going to be a black wheel then I think it looks much much better with some sort of polished lip like the 2nd pic. All black rims just look cheap IMO ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

SydeWayz, you might want to block out your house #. It'd be a sad day, if your notch got jacked. ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

thanks for the heads up...thats not my house though
I think I'll be getting a set of black w/ polished lip rims. I like the FR500's but not sure about them...getting kind of played out I may go with something a bit different, but I think that color combination is the best. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

I've never liked black rims either, on any car. Find some nice chrome wheels to put on that bad boy.

Yeah nice chromies would look sick with the two tone scheme you have going.
Could win some car shows with that bad boy.

I dont see how you guys think chrome rims would fit that car so well.... Im sorry but chrome rims are played out and everybody and their mother has them. There is nothing chrome on that car so how is chrome going to make it look better???

All chrome I think there would be to many things going on, to many colors for that car. All black looks good if you get the right rim I think. Black with polished lip is everywhere like already mentioned thus the reason I didn't powder coat my center caps black, but it does still look good so you can't really go wrong there.
Try to think...less is more. Car looks mean though

yeah...i think you offered them to me, right?
as for the rims, I went with something different. I stuck with teh black with polished lip look, but they're not Fords. They're ADR's and I got a staggered setup. The front has about a 1"-1.5" lip, while the rears have about a 2"-2.5" lip. I'll post a pic of them when I get them installed. I decided to go with these because te guy gave me a great deal, they look good, and they're not very common

do the ones i got look ricey because of the silver "screws" that go around the edge? That was the only downside about them, although they make them look kind of sporty I liked them because they look somewhat like the Steeda wheels and have a nice lip.
I can also exchange them for these...they have a really deep dish, about 2" in front and 4" in rear. I think they are the black version of what Shaun had on Purplenotch...
Which ones look better??

Yeah, I like the ones with the "screws"...Are they fake screws or are they actually multipiece wheels?...I've seen the new American Racing wheels and even FOOSE has those screws on his wheels...It seems to be the "look" lately...
