Finally - we're gettin a dragstip in the eastbay ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)
News Article
New tracks will include a road course, a figure-8 track, kart course and drifting course. A 1/8-mile drag strip is planned as a subsequent addition.
I know it's only a 1/8 mile - but it's better then nothing. About time people around here pull their head out of their ass and realize the best way to stop the street racing is to build us a track to go race at.

By the way, I just received an email back about the 'race' on the 27th. I was trying to find out if it was a grudge night or class racing. Here is the disappointing reply:

We don't have a 1/8 mile strip yet. I think what Kenny has planning is a drag hole shot contest on the front straight of the 1/2 mile oval. Street cars only. TBA. I know nothing more at this time.
