Topic: Got a new delimma

Ok as you all know im debating on selling the t-top still. but heres the delimma. ive done everything major to the motor on the 86 except change the heads and cam. but in order to do so i have to tear down the block and get the pistons nothched or just drop in a newer 87+ motor. but i wonder if doing all that work and spending all that money will ever make it faster then my 96 cobra if i were to put the same amount of money into it. so does it sound worth it to go through all that trouble?

I would do it. I could go buy a fast/clean car if I wanted. But aint nothin like building a fast/clean car.

thats true. i take pride in saying that I built my motor as opposed to someone who bought theirs. does anyone know where i could get a good 5.0 motor and probably a tranny to?

If you enjoy building, find it rewarding, an have the time/money, by all means do it.
If you have other priorities in your life, or lack patience, buy it and have instant fun...

yeah you sent me a pm but that was for my cousin ronnie. im thinking about picking one up for myself now tho. anybody who reads this let me know if you might have a good strong 5.0 or 306 block with the bottom end intact.
