As many of you know, I've been wanting to trade my motorcycle (2000 Kawasaki ZX-6R) for a foxbody for a while now. Well, I am in the process of selling it and then planning on buying a really nice notch, but I'm having second thoughts...kind of. Don't get me wrong, the car is sick as hell, but so is my bike (at least I think so ) I know the weather is gonna be better soon and riding the bike would be real fun, but crusing around in that notch would be sick too Im a broke ass student so i can only afford one toy...what should it be?

Will either be your only vehicle? IF so, get the car. It sucks having just a bike in the rain/cold. If you already have another car, well then it gets more difficult.

no the bike nor the coupe will be my daily driver. I have a 4-banger BMW for daily use. The coupe will be my "project car"/toy...which is what my bike was.

They are two different things, you need to decide what you want. Me, I would keep the bike. No smog, cheaper to run, dont have to worry about street legel or not parts really, Im a broke student as well!

the bike is faster and funner, but I dont ride it as much as I would like to. The notch, on the other hand, would be really fun to drive and i can actually use it more...damn its a toss-up between everyone on here

If the bike is mainly for transportation, street rides with the rest of the squidlies on 9, or whatever then keep the car If your a bike-track junkie and go to say....5-10 trackdays a year with a track school thrown in somewhere in between then keep the bike.

Thanks for teh suggestions guys. I see it this way: My bike, although it has a lot of mods, is definitely a dime a dozen. This nothch on the other hand, is REALLY clean in and out, has a clean title, and the owner is a cool ass dude. Now thats rare

You made the right decision! If you can only afford one toy definitely go for a cage! You can always get a bike later on!!! Just my .02 My bikes they come and go.

i know gas is rising and all, but I dont plan on using the notch for commuting or anything. Like the bike, it'll come out on the weekends for some fun I wish i could keep both, but I cant
