Are turbos alot better than Superchargers for that much more money?.Are Garrett T3/T4 Hybrid Turbochargers a real good 1? or the T6 model?.or would you guys recomend doing a SC for using pretty much stock components on a Fox?In the future i will upgrade the heads intake etc.Or should i have that be the 1st thing on my list?..lol.So tell me what you guys think or recomend. And how long would you say i should wait for intalling this ons a new Motor with about 1,500 miles on it.not a rebuild NEW motor.stock 302.last question would my motor be able to handle NOS without having any serious probs?.As of now its a stock motor JBA headers O/R H pipe, flows,CAI thats about it .Oh yeah and a freshly rebuilt Tranny with the world class Upgrade.Got it done for free .but wont get it back till Monday .But for free I can't complain. The owner of the tranny shop called me today and said there was gear oil in there 90 weight some ATF and other crap,Thanks to my friends dad who put it in for me when i was putting in the new Motor. And i guess some gears were chewed up and so was the shaft. So on a new Free Tranny.Had to add that in sorry.Ok so Thank's for any input's.

yeah what he said. Just take out some components of the engine so it will all fit nice and snug.

The garrett hybrids are good. But you mentioned the t6 are you kidding me!!!!! On stock NO WAY. Those turbos are huge and capable of putting out enormous hp. Garrett's t6's start with 80mm turbos and these are well over the 1000 hp range. There's no way in hell your stocker can come even close to handling them. Well maybe if you boost no more than 2 psi. Hell I'm not even sure your stocker can handle sc and nos. But if you are on stock components and want a power adder I'd go with the sc its safer for your set up and you will get power NOW instead of lag with a turbo. Plus you'll need a built motor to handle any turbo that is going to pushing significant hp. If you plan on making HUGE hp then think turbo and built motor. But this will cost you tons of money. If you want good power but don't want to spend the $ on building the motor and other components then go with the sc.

think about getting a t04 series turbo.

edit : turbo lag is a HUGE MYTH. if you think its real, ask 93PONY
if anything superchargers have more lag then a turbo.
depends on your goals. as for turbo v supercharger...do you want max boost all the way to redline or only at redline [ February 11, 2006, 05:13 AM: Message edited by: t top freak ]

Unless You have mechanical skill's I would suggest an entry level charger like an S-Trim. I personally had all the supporting system's in place before I charged My stang, but there is nothing wrong with throwing a charger on a stock motor and building from there. I would make sure the valve spring's You are planning on using were up to the task and at least have an aftermarket exhaust & at least 30 pound injector's and aftermarket fuel pump. Go ahead and throw some drag radial's on while You are at it!
