Travis from HCI called about a hour or 2 ago to let me know that the Snake is complete and ready for delivery. I personally haven't heard the motor yet but he says the thing is "off the hook". He said when they fired it up, the new cams had the car arockin' from side to side and the people in the building next door said the walls were shakin' ...NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!!! I'm gonna try and pick it up tommorrow, but I'm on a tight schedule, and truly, I wasn't expecting it for a 'til next week, but you can bet I'll try and get it tomorrow. If I can't pick it up Fri, then it'll have to be on Tue due to work.
BIG, huge ass, thanx to Travis, Sean(CaFords), Dave, and last but certainly not least, Cole(chief builder) at HCI for all of their hard work and getting it to me ahead of schedule. They knew how much I wanted it for the cruise comin' up and they accomodated me bigtime. The customer service was top notch the whole time they had the car and if the motor is half as good as they treated me, I'm confident I'm in pretty good shape.
I'm gonna call Jeff tommorrow and setup a dyno-tune date and I'll post the numbers as soon as I get 'em. Any guesses on what they'll be?
Peace 'til then, folks.

Glad you're happy with us.
The cams are a little roudy at the moment. Most of that will easily be tuned out.
Changes to the motor setup: (hope you don't mind me posting this Rick) Custom cam specs: 226/228 116LSA .545/.495 Compcams valvesprings/retainers 18.1cc dished pistons with taperwall wrist pins & file-fit rings Clevite bearings, crankshaft/rods resized/ground & race preped Heads freshened up ARP studded shortblock Blower lobes lowered in the case from .007 rotor to wall clearance to .004". (I did this for 'fun'......but Travis wasn't too happy that we're not charging for it....but Rick doesn't even know I did it till he reads this....should be worth another 1psi boost).
There were a few minor issues we took care of as well when we came accross them.

Congratulations Rick. I am looking forward to seeing this car in person on the 19th.
HCI and Shaun (specifically) did excellent work for me, too. There isn't a finer shop around and I, like many others on this site, am a 100% satisfied customer.

I have had my cobra back for about two weeks its getting tuned and dnyoed today. So i should know what kind of numbers it will make later today. HCI did a bad ass job on my car also. Hands down the best shop around.
I'll let you know my number later today. Of coures my set up is a little more wilder then yours . But don't worry i'll take it easy on you when we run into each other.
