Not sure cause I dont really follow rap, but looks like he might blow up soon. http://music.ign.com/articles/685/685053p1.html , last place I expected to see his name was on ign.com, a video game website.

I been saying Bay Area will definetly gonna blow up, all the Paul Wally & Nellyisha fans were doubting saying "bay will never get mainstream", San Quins albums coming out this week (think) and Tell Me When To Go video will hit BET this month, im pretty sure it will by the end of next week...
Much Props to Ya Boy who just signed with Black Wall Street (Game and others) in L.A - One step closer !!!

I understand what your saying, but it's time for them to blow up and make their cash now. Espcially E-40. He's been laying low for awhile now. Let him make his money now ![[Whoo Whooooo!]](graemlins/woowoo.gif)

It's sad that the bay is blowing up and Mac Dre (RIP) isn't around to be part of it.

Thats how the mainstream media is, thats how it is everywhere, remember 2pac? 50% of the population in the States never heard of him untill he got killed (RIP), remember the quote "YOUR NOBODY TILL SOMEBODY KILLS YOU".

"i dont dump mainstream i knock underground..all that other shit suger-coated and watered down.." -E-40
tru fuckin words right there!
and about people reppin MAC D-R-E after he died is 100% TRUE! people i know didnt even know who he was till he died. i knocked Pac's shit since "2Pacalypsenow" and he just got bigger and bigger...but always kept that shit westcoast!
funny thing is..usually when artists die their songs seem played out and out of date. PAC'S music still can relate to today....kinda weird. like when a song comes on...people still flow to it and bob their heads and shit....RIP PAC, RIP MAC DRE ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif)

Well, I "grew up" listening to MacDre and when I say "grew up" I mean when I was 14 in 1991 my first Dre CD was "What's really going on?". I'm 28 now and have almost every track that has him on it. When I hear people say that it's a joke or whatever that everyone is repping him now I think that they are just hating for no reason. Who really cares if someone starts listening to Dre now that he's not around?? The important thing is that his music gets played forever and his albums keep selling so his family gets taken care of. Mac Dre and Bay artists need fans any way they can get them, just my opinion.

I think it's funny that you guys hate on these "new" fans. Let them do what they do. Most of the new fans have never heard 'Gift to Gab" or "On my Toes" and they wouldn't know who was rappin and that is sad to me but oh well. Most of them think that the Thizzelle Washington was his first album to drop.
It's funny, everywhere I go now, buying gas, getting food, driving from point A to B, I hear Mac Dre being played from peoples cars. I like it. He was about to get real real big anyway so it was just a matter of time. It's all good though. Mac Dre would not hate on them and neither should we.

Im fucking sick of rap now, thats probably because Ive been listing to this shit for 18 years now and listened to every kind of it. I had collection of about 3000 cd's all originals(until it got stolen). Im tired of the whole scene and all the bullshit that comes with, Its so damn oversaturated. Whatever, fuck it, ill just listen to my metal. Rant over.
