Heres a pic I found with a quick google search... this is their Kicker truck. Do a search on "Gates Bronco PPI" and youll find their links.

Thats weak. I could bounce a full 40oz off of the roof of my old GT with my TREO 15's. I worked at a stereo shop, and we installed two 18in solobaric L7's in my bosses navigator as a demo car. It was knocking shit off of the shelves four lanes acroos the street at a gas station. The navigator was weighed down big time in the back. But im not into all that shit anymore. Now when the bass hits all I hear is "steal me steal me" [ January 31, 2006, 09:44 PM: Message edited by: Eagle347 ]

Yeah> thats the chain driven setup. Coolest alternator setup Ive seen. I just loaded down mine with batts. In a boat its not great to have your motor running all day and gassing people out. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

Personlly I think JL is overpriced and not all that great. Just marketing that's all. I ran old school JL 12w5's LONG ago, easily over a decade ago, and back then they were cool. Then they started sponsoring events along with PPI and MB Quart and they got HUGE. Their quality is now just above average but their marketing continues to be great, therefore they still very popular. I think PPI isn't all that great either anymore. Hell I had the old school Pro Mos 450s and still nothing compares to that this day from PPI. I bought ppi stuff right when they opened and they were great amps using Orion technology. To this day I still love the Orion HCCA shit that stuff is bad ass. All this new solobaric and SPL crap isn't for me. I like my music loud, clear, and with a great range with smooth transition. I'm more of an SQL type of person.
Any old school people here remember the Zapco 3 board shit? And how about the old school US AMPS we called skateboards. hahahahah How about Sound Stream Reference that shit was clean! Great shit for sure.
If you think the W7's are cool try listening to the Brahmas or XXX's, they will blow the doors of the W7's no comparision at all. These Brahmas and XXX's transition soooooo smooth and are absolutely flawless in sound. Their range is awesome too. And the amount of power the XXX can take is unbelieveable!

To be honest, most of the frequencies the sub is making are too low for the camera's mic, so it sounds distorted.
That's TOO much bass for me tho.

I usually burn that 36 mafia song onto a CD when ever I put in a new set of subs... to hear/feel them and give them a good break in.

yea the RE stuff is preety cool. ive been meaning to stop by their place in vegas when im out there. i just read ur post about the old skool stuff u had. ur right about the ppi stuff. Their old stuff is sweet as all hell but the new stuff is utter crap. all the directed line is crap these days which include all the new soundstream stuff. Oorion still makes awesome stuff but i almost ahve to put them in the JL catagory because their stuff is nice but damn expensive. If you like the sound of those subs. check out the elemental designs stuff or ascendant audio. ascendant is a company out of colorado that is leasing adire's xbl^3 motor and selling there stuff for about half the price. im planning on running a pair of their avalanches in my stang.
