Being closed on a weekend would not make sense considering that most people work on their cars on the weekend and could want/need parts that you guys have in stock.
Monday is not a good day to have off as well. A lot of people that want parts or to get work done on the car will call/come by on Monday to get what they need. I have accidentally stopped by your shop more times on a Monday than all the times I've been there while open. I've had to go elsewhere for parts and/or nitrous because of this.
Monday - Saturday gets my vote

Performance shops are traditionally closed on Sundays and Mondays. Race on Sunday, drive home Monday. It's been that way since the 1950's and the world hasn't ended.
If Apex wants to focus or expand their parts sales, then it would be important to have someone at least staffing the counter on Mondays.

It was always helpful to me when Apex was open on Saturday. I live in Pacifica, so it's kind of a pain in the ass to drag my car down there and pick it up in any case. I guess I don't really care if the parts counter is open or if they're working on cars on Saturday, but at least knowing I can pick it up and drop it off would help. In all my years of toying around with cars and racing,I have never ran across ANY speed/performance shops that are closed on Mondays.Mondays are the day you get all the stuff you need after a mishap over the weekend or to get that part/parts to fix or finish that project that your working on.Or to drop off a car to get work done.
I would say a perfect schedule would be Mon-Sat.You could do a half day on Sat if being open all day doesnt work.Having a monthly car show on Saturdays would be kewl to get some buisness/sales as well

I would love to open 6 days a week BUT a few things would prevent that...
#1-2 young kids and a wife . So I cannnot work on the 6th day and would have to have my employees do it.
#2-The extra day would be pretty much considered overtime and would be expensive if there was not much business that day.
#3-My employees... not sure if they would want to work 6 days in a row.
If I was single I would be at the shop 6-7 days a week but I'm not... I am going to see if we can work something out to open 6 days BUT alot of it will depend on my boys.

Who ever does the scheduling should just rotate who works on Saturday. Or give one or two of your guys a day off during the week, then work them on Saturday, that way they still get 40 hours on the week and you wont have to pay OT.

I do not use your shop (or any for that matter) but Mon-Sat would benefit you the most from a business sense.
