 For all you sports gamblers,
The Rose Bowl is approaching and I know there has been a tad bit of controversay on who will win: USC or TEXAS. Recent post activity in Svtpeformance's Rose Bowl thread have become pretty heated with many members leaning towards Texas.

I was thinking about a contest....
Here are the rules:
1. You can only make one post with your guess as to what the score will be at the end of the game with who will win. (So think really hard before posting!)
2. No copy-cat guesses.
3.No editing your posts either guys!!!
4. Guesses will be received up to the day of the game so that gives you just over two weeks.
5. Only one prize will be awarded to the person who predicts the right team to win and has the closest prediction on the score.
6. Absolutely NO bashing on other members' guesses. I mean it guys.... I just want posts of guesses please so it will help me keep track of the bets.
I hope this will be clean without TOO MUCH bs and crap talking or then the post will be ruined and the contest will have to end.
I will be buying the prize this weekend and keeping track of your bets as they come.

Quick question....What qualifies as predicting the closest score? Are you taking the total amount of points?
For example:
42-17 is the final score
Someone predicts 42-13 (This one was only off by 4 on the losing sides points)
Another predicts 45-13 (This one is a little off on both scores and is 1 less than the total points scored in the game)
Another predicts 30-29 (This one is totally off on both scores, but he/she has the same total points scored in the game)
Who would win in the above situations?

What I'm looking for is more OPTION A where the score at the end of the game will be compared to everyone's estimates and the closest prediction to the end score for BOTH teams will win the prize. No combined points will be necessary here. I hope that clears up the confusion!
