Can you break this down for me. I dont get this, and what the hell is parlay. So are the warriors favorites or what?

a parlay is when you bet on more than one bet on the same. The downside is all of your bets have to win in order for you to hit your card, but the payouts are alot more than if you were to take just a straight wager. o
Example
Parlay (all teams must win in order to get paid.)
- Kings
- Warriors
- Detroit
Risk $50 to win $200
Straight wager
Kings
Risk $50 to win 50
Usually home teams are the favorite unless they are garbage. You can by the number next to their team name. If it is "+5" then the team is getting 5 points to start the game off with because they are not the favorite. So the team that they are playing against can still win as long they dont win by 5. For example. (Kings +5 vs. Lakers-5)
The score can 100 Kings to 103 Lakers and you would still win by 2 points because they are getting +5 points.
If the team starts of with
"-5" then they are the favorite because they are starting the game with negative points. So you wouldn't win this bet unless the team won by more than 5.

there are alot of sites where you can bet, but this is the easiest for me. You can also play poker online. I won around $60 last night playing for 30mins then it was off to bed. I also hit my 2 team parlay yesterday. I took Lakers and Spurs $40 to win $120.

Anyways it is pretty fun for me. Betting on sports has become sort of a hobby for me. I follow all the NBA teams religiously (NBA league pass ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif) )so I think that gives me more of a chance. When I bet on sports I win more than I lose. When I play poker or craps I always lose in the long run.
