Dont bring any toys or magazines, they will see that and make fun of you when they do your inital bag search. <br /><br />Also, I HIGHLY suggest that you cut your hair neatly, shave (if you have a beard or goatee) and wear plain clothing so you dont stand out for the time that you are a "rainbow" still.<br /><br />In all reality its a big mind game, they break you down and they mold you and instill you with military teachings. I don't know how they do it in the coast guard but anything that was on my person was confisgated in Marine boot.
