Supposedly they fixed some of the cooling problems that were in the 96-97 cobras, but it has no strut tower brace. That always confused me. Also the 98's had different wheels, not that it matters because I would end up changing the wheels anyways. My favorite is the Mystic 96-98 Cobra, then Bright Red, then Bright Atlantic Blue. I’ve been shopping for one for a while and am trying to find the perfect one. As soon as I turn 25 I’ll be ready to buy because my insurance will finally go down. Sorry too much info, but I love 96-98 cobras.

seriously, I see no reason why they are cool. Not hating, just don't understand why they are such a big deal to some people. Like OMG I have a 98 Cobra.. weeee!
I personally get more excited over a 93 Cobra or a 03/04.. 93 Cobra owns all though, I don't care what you say.. hehe
I was offered a 98 Cobra with 28k miles for my car, triple black vert, but other than having the cobra name I don't see why its so special, thus why I brought up this question.

they're cobras, so they have more hp than a gt and are rarer, and i like that body style better than the new edge one...you have any pics or info on the 98 cobra alice?

I agree I love my Lazer red 98 cobra the difference I think is the the way the Fuel pumps are set up and they are rare

I feel the same way...but with 93 cobra's...I'm going to get flamed for saying this, but I think 93 Cobra's are the biggest waste of money out of all mustangs. Unless it is 100% stock, in mint condition, with very low miles and is a collector car...I don't see what's so great about them. Sure, they body pieces look awesome, but its nothing you can't add to any other fox. Stock for stock they aren't that much faster than any other 5.0...I don't see what's so great.

i agree, i like the 93 Cobras intake though.
93 Cobras have the same motor as a GT of the same here except some slightly different mods. 98 Cobra compared to a 98 GT is a totally different motor. I think that makes 96-98 Cobras special because FORD actually changed the motor in the Cobra.
