Like the title says im buying a black on black 1997 Cobra coupe. Super clean.... $8000 cash i pick up Friday.
79,2xx miles brand new clutch, short shifter, cai with 87mm pro m, livewire wires, mm camber plates, full length subframes, panhard bar, tokico adjustable shocks and struts, 4.10's, mmm cant think of anything else. Now what to do??? I test drove it today and drives wonderfully. This was my first time driving a 4v so im new to it. It feels so much different then my little 2v. I think im going to swap some 4.30's or bigger because it doesnt pull hard enough down low but does up high?? The exhaust is completely stock... so im thinking of bbk lt's with some magnflow's or something. What else should I do?? i have $3200 to spend?

500 more from yer budget and would be smoking the competition
Looks like an awesome kit. But I wouldn't give that kind of money to a person I never met and just run into fitment/smog issues down the line.
Just get a blower and a good tune and be done with it. Sounds like a beast already.

Don't go with long tubes you wont see any HP increase, unless you have a power adder.
Go with a blower.

yeah im thinking of chaulking up the lt's because i got a quote today and it was $950 just for install!!!!
Picked up the car today and taking it to alteredspeed so they can do a leakdown and compression check so i know im getting a sound car. Owner was cool with it. Car is so damn nice... so much faster than my 2v... pulls really hard up top its weird.. my 2v fell on its face after about 4k and the cobra barely wakes up then. Right now im thinking about some nitto's and buying a used blower!!! also thinking about a chip and tune??

Good man, you wont be disappointed just be easy on the boost, 6-8lbs. Start asking for trouble when you up it on those motors without a built bottom end.

its not as bad as chevy drivers who put cutouts on their stock car as soon as they get their camaro. I wish my Mustang sounded like a top fuel car and ran high 13s!

blower..yes indeed.
your little 2V didnt pull after 3K because it wasnt like my 97..my 2V pulled pretty hard when it hit 3K ...oh wait..cause i did the headswap..something you SHOULDA did to your roush
anyways...i would say go with 4.30's but if you want to go blown stay with the 4.10s. or get the 4.30s and sell the 4.10s to me
