So guys, I've been looking for a beater truck for about 7 weeks now. I came across this 1994 Ranger XLT 3.0 V6 5-speed and picked her up for only $2000 cash.
The AC works great, it has a bed liner, stereo, and the undercarriage is bone dry.
I am thrilled that I can retire the coupe to weekend duty and work on it without having to worry about it needing to be ready every Monday morning for the commute to work. It was breaking my heart driving the 5.0 to work, to the gym, to the grocery store, roadtrips, and any errands I needed...
The upcoming project for the coupe is to get the torque boxes welded up and get a set of MM lower control arms.
Here are a few pics of the new Ranger:

It's one hell of a beater.
Edit: My old man has the same truck. Except his is a 95, but a Mazda B3000. [ September 08, 2005, 09:57 PM: Message edited by: 02GeeTee ]

My old man's truck is a big pos. He installed a new engine two years ago, and a rebuilt tranny in 1999. Then replaced the stock clutch and fly almost six months ago.
He bought it brand new in 1995.

Nice Ranger man! You're gonna love it. I have a '97 3.0 5 speed and it's been a great beater. I drive it to work every day and have not had any problems with it. Great for hauling around Mustang parts too
