I was thinking ... who here belongs to a car club, what is the name of the club, and where is your club located? And how many members belong to your club?

Doesn't matter.. It can be a paid club or just a Free social one where everyone gets together every once in a while.

If I recall correctly, there is a mustang club that meets up at Swanson Ford in Los Gatos on the 1st or 2nd saturday night of every month and goes out to dinner. They do a cruise once in a while too but I only went to 2 meetings since most of the people there were a lot older than me (I was like 17 at the time). I didn't really feel like I fit in. Plus I was the ONLY person there with a 5.0! What kind of mustang club doesn't have a few 5.0s in it ![[Confused]](confused.gif) ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

Our main group consists of 3 of us. My dad, and friend of mine, and my self. My dad and I are both in NASA NPDE Group 4 (full advanced), We run 1-2 events a month. We are running the OTC in August, and we are now starting to do NASA TT (Time Trials). Myself, I have been doing Open Tracking for just over 2 years, have a decent amount of track time under my belt, enough where I can be fairly confident in giving lessons to people. I also have run a handfull of SCCA Solo2 Auto-X events. My Dad is going on 2 years of OpenTrack Racing too. He is a very good driver, but I still say I am faster than him . Clay, my buddy is fairly new into the opentracking, he is in NASA HPDE 2, but has a strong interest in progressing up through the ranks too. We actually are running next weekend down in Buttonwillow for the NASA Norcal crossover event. If you want more info talk with Mario, he knows us well, and we have done advertising for him in the past. Even got his name in a mag or two. im in team legion 510. we have a 650 and a 209 edition as well. its just a bunch of friends that got together i hold a BBQ at my house for everyone. we will go to great america and cruze. so far i been to 3 cafords events with some people from the team. 7 mustangs 2trans ams 1-lightning 2 monte carlos right now we got 16cars. u can pm me for more info
