I hated school, cut class and paid for it. I ended up going back a year after I supposed to graduate and finish. I pushed my daughter because I knew exactly what she felt and didn't want her to make the same mistakes I did. N8, from seeing the way your son is right now and your attitude in general its obvious that your son is going to do very well in high school.
