(faulty relay) I would highly recomend an electric fan. I'm even thinking about an electric water pump for the wife's GT which is worth another 10+hp....but at a cost of over $500 for the one that works with the heater core....but we're already stressing the stock block....the car doesn't really need more power. LOL Definately upgrade to 7/16th rockers/studs. I'd recomend Comp ProMagnums or HiTech(expensive). Aftermarket lifters are no better than stock unless they've been modified. Some Comp lifters come modified correctly (like what we run in my wife's & Yellow94GT's 347's). If you have modified lifters, you can run VERY stiff valvesprings provided you do not go overboard on open pressure (the camshaft can only take so much pressure). The first time my wife's 347 was strapped down to FFP's dyno it put out 422RWHP & 388RWTQ. We found another 20hp from maximizing the combination. (valvetrain & cam swap). You can pop up over 400RWHP from changing a few parts.....& still keep that killer 388RWTQ. [/qb]
Thats some good advice. I just found out that I have Pro magnum pushrods and Comp cams lifters. I will find out the exact type next week along with info on my valvesprings. I will definately get the vavletrain checked before I take it to the track and upgrade the rockers since my ford motorsport ones might not be cuttin it LOL! [/QB]
