Originally posted by Secnd2nun64: [qb] I just started looking at the guns and there are so many models out there it gets overwhelming. I'm looking between $200-$400 and want a new one which is why bersa caught my attention. I did read about the pinching that the ppk does on your hand. Sounds stupid bit I was liking the nostalgic look to the gun. My wife also wants to shoot it too so it needs to be something she can handle as well. Sounds like the 9mm is the way to go? Seemed like a lot of people recommend the 22lr for beginners. [/qb]
Then definitely don't get a PPK type gun. I bought mine for my wife and she HATED it. She shot it once and never shot it again in the two years I owned it. I am a big Sig fan. For $400 you probably can't get any of the metal frame guns for that, but you can get a brand new 2022 for that much. They're a great polymer Sig for a low costt. [/QB]
