Originally posted by snakebit95: [QB] yeah mine needed some serious prep done. lots of door dings and my front bumper was ripped and cracked. We were able to bring it back to life. I painted my roof and hood myself about a year ago just so it wouldnt rust over the winter. I guess i put it on extra thick. He told me this after they painted it and it made his paint bubble. He was nice enough to strip and respray with no extra charge. Im sure he would have charged somebody else. It always helps to know somebody. I have a couple of small blemish's that i wasnt really triping on, but he told me to bring it back in a couple of weeks and drop it off for the day. He is going to wet sand & polish them out. I do think if you go into any Maaco you will get a "Maaco paint job" but if you know somebody or get a refferal and you know they do good work, thats what you will get. I havent stop smiling since. :D [/QB]
