Originally posted by EPIK: [QB] No biggie bro. Our cars are about even power wise. I will be honest with you, FFP's dyno numbers are all over the map, so yes I think your numbers are actually lower than what it says on the sheet. Dont worry about that though because they are just numbers. What really matters is how the car runs & that he got the A/f ratio right. As far as suspension parts go, Im not too sure how much the parts weigh, but they were pretty solid. If I have to guess, I would say that the panhard bar & SFC's had to add at least 40-50 lbs. The control arms are actually 5 lbs heavier than stock, & i didnt have the tubular K member installed yet. The only thing that is lighter than stock would be the front coilovers, plus the shaker probably weighs about 10lbs being that its made out of metal. You have the aluminum driveshaft, & flywheel you lost a few lbs there. Anyway, your car is probably slightly heavier than mine, but i dont think its as much as you think. i have heard that IRS weighs only 80-100lbs more than SRA.... anyway, who cares, both cars run good & are evenly matched. When Eric & I raced the one time, it was almost dead even with me having a very slight edge, but not much more than 1/2 a fender....That says alot about his car, because it didnt have many mods on it & it ran like a raped ape.... I cant wait to get a few more runs in soon, but If I get my new clutch in on monday, I want to at least break it in for a couple of hundred miles.... [/QB]
