What do you mean by cable lock posi and a lockrite? Lockrites are lunch box lockers. That front 30 should be used as a boat anchor. You're on borrowed time with it. I bet the first time you lock it up and actually wheel like its supposed to be that axle is gonna break. Your 9" looks good from the pics it looks like you have the large bearing truck style 9. It should be a 31 spine axle. But you have a spool and you plan to street drive it? YIKES!!!! Can you say tire chirp??? You'll wear out your tires fast. A cheap fix is a lockrite or aussie locker. If it were me I'd ditch that front 30 and look for a 44 or a 60. You can find 44's all day long that will be the same width and lug pattern as that 9. Hell I even have one. And I have a waggy 44 too both are just sitting in the back of my truck. If you got a tj dana 30 I wouldn't be so hard on it. But a yj 30??? JUNK!!!!! Its like a bomb waiting to explode and you just lit the fuse with the locker. [/qb]
no shit shirlock  You just told me everything i know already. if i was made of money i would have swapped in dana 60s and be done with it. but i'm building this thing on a budget which means a little bit at a time. and wheeling it "as it's supposed to be driven..." what a redneck ass comment. Yes i wheel my shit but i don't beat the crap out of it like some people. [/QB]
