I'm having a problem with my tuner. I run the race tune on my 2013 GT. Twice now ( I've had it tuned for six months or so ) in the morning before six on my way to work the car throws the check engine light and starts running like its on four cylinders....I have to pull over and upload my stock tune then the car is fine. I've spoken to Bama and they say my tune looks fine.....any suggestions ??

What codes came up I'd say start there and data log the tune then you'll really know if it a good tune or not!

Bama has stepped it up with there tunes especially with pre 05 cars, I'd datalog it and send them a file. 11+ cars are easy to tune just ask why most big name tuners do em more often then other years. Shit they have the 1st 2015 n the 9s.. Or if u want a different tuner go with Ortiz performance [ 2015-01-06, 10:24 AM: Message edited by: SwEeT03Gt ]

So I guess I have to check the car with the engine light on?? Start a data log and run the diagnostic to get the code... How do I send them the data log though ??

I'd be careful if I was you maybe go through your gas or add something to spike the octane up as it could be related to bad gas still your first step should be to figure out what codes it's throwing and go from there!

Are you running the required octane? what are your mods? and go to sctperformance.com look for your model handle you have, download the latest update and there should be a data log update too. [ 2015-01-06, 05:08 PM: Message edited by: SwEeT03Gt ]

I am running a 91 octane tune and I only put shell or chevron in 91 of course....my mods are bbk tb , bbk cai , accel super coils , bbk shorty headers , bbk x pipe , jlt oil separators , resonator deletes , roush axle backs with 3.73 gears

i'd get rid of the accel coils imo, um in your custom tune did you have them delete rear o2 sensors? they could have missed that maybe

well if your x pipe is catless then they should have had that option and deleted them, and they should be behind your rear cats (at leasts thats where they are on my 03 or wear)

No the cats are still on there , the x pipe and shorty headers retained the x cats..,,I've been thinking about going back to an off road h pipe though... Should sound pretty sick
