For those who never been to Mexican/Latino wedding.. You guys are missing out...
One of the best weddings i ever went to last night.
One of my close friends wedding was last night and he invited the whole family.. I wasn't expecting much and thought it would be as same as our (Indian weddings).
So much fun, i don't know what terms each activity were called but eeverything they did was so much fun (holding hands and running around the room with the boys?) The dances, the music and on and on..
I gotta give it up to them. My wedding is coming up next year and we already made reservations with the latino familia hahaha they are all coming for the dance and to mix it up a little bit.
Anyways, for those who haven't been to one before, better make some friends and hit up some weddings!
i think i learned how to dance Merengue and Salsa a little bit, me and my girlfriend HAD to dance with the bride and groom, i didnt know they were going to put us on BLAST when they called out our names to dance.. One crazy night!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAH I thought that was you for a minute Marvin!! haahahaha
What is that dance called when everyone does the same dance? That was pretty nice, like some type of traditional dance? All the girls and the guys were on the dance floor and they all did the same moves, walking back and forth going in circle..

there's not such thing as "harcore mexican", either you're Mexican or not, but now a days you got shit heads that denie their heritage, or try to be cool and pretend they don't kow a thing I even seen people that speak spanish and pretend they don't(and not in a situation where there's someone that doesn't speak spanish, where I think speaking english should be done).
The name of song is "caballo dorado" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpMiSaBROLM
and the other you mention is "la vivora de la mar" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv0Det6SC90
