sold my 1975 celica.i told the person i sold it to that i only owned the car 15 days and iam not familiar with the performance of the car.anyways the guy looked and test drove the car twice in 2 different days.finally sold it and on his way home car broke down.i feel bad but at the same time is this my fault?should i return his money?

what exactly broke. well he drove it twice. an buying a car i usually look at it as "as is". so i say no.

I dunno I am kinda up in the air on this type of stuff. Half of me would refund his money (he would have to eat the towing fees to get it back to me). But then again. Things are pretty much as is. If it becomes a issue probably easier to just refund the money. I think I would do it hands down if it were some poor college kid or a immigrant worker or something just needing to get to work. But if it was a dude that had cash and wasn't hurtin...then..?

yeah I feel bad.gave me sob story and top of that his pretty cool kid.anyways he ended up selling the car tonight for $600 so I told him ill give him half of $400 so he can break even.I broke even also.thanks guys.

That was a really cool thing to do. Honestly, you didn't really have to do that but you stepped up and did it..... meanwhile there are people that flat out owe others and wont man up to take care of the situation. I'll deal with you any day.

I don't know he could b lying,but that's his carma.I don't think so though.when he came back to pick up the money he brought his mom and talked to her for a bit.yeah if this guy was shady I would have kept the money but I had a feeling he just didn't know what he was getting into.thanks guys.

plus = maeco did kinda lie to the kid. he said he only had it 15 days and didnt no bout the performance or whatever bout the car. so its good that he did the right thing cuz he kinda lied, but it all worked out anyway
