From what I'm aware of, the only decal with the build number is located on the front bumper. Then you have the plaques near the shifter and in the firewall. Not sure if there are any others aside from those.
If you have a hard time finding a Source to print you new decals, there's an eBay seller by the name of Carribean Designs (or something like that) who has the correct font. This seller was recommended to me on a Saleen Owners forum.

I was going to get a set from them also but the font and size was wrong. I called Saleen to order them (call me anal and a true Saleen snob}. They will only sell you the numbers if the vin # matches with their records.

Go to www.stage3motorsports.com. They have authentic saleen & roush stuff and the customer service is 10 out of 10. Constant e-mail updates, calls, etc.
To answer your question...You should have #'s on your front bumper and plaques in the engine compartment & near the shifter. In addition, you should have a Saleen Print out / Sticker in your glove compartment. All of these things should have matching #'s.

It was fun while it lasted! I sold the car many years ago to jayl and then he sold it........it was one of the first new edge cobras around that was laying down 500+ rw and then after the built motor 600+ pulling a best of 10.4@ 125 with a crazy loose converter. Threw a ton of money at it, got lots of stories, and learned a ton! Now its back to a 99 s281 speedster. Top down, chrome spinnin [ September 25, 2012, 11:26 PM: Message edited by: WIKD 281 ]

I'm sure alot of members on here own a little bit of your old Cobra. I bought the Saleen wheels from Jayl that were on the Cobra. I also bought the 2001 Cobra rear bumper from you. [ September 25, 2012, 11:38 PM: Message edited by: cobra4v ]
