Its better to have a string of small earthquakes cuz that lets the plates tectonics settle so that we won't have a big quake.

you do know that lil quakes can lead up to a bigger one, plates moving on each other lil by lil till one generates enough force for a big shake, ima be doing this wen it happens tho
