I have never had nor driven this year (94 and up). And dont know much about em. But first I am wondering if this is a good deal? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/car/255652897.html
I am searching for a cool notch or GT, but then I thought "maybe I should try something new". How do the sn95's compare to the foxes in performance, mods ability/availability and holding their value? Would you grab a notch over a 94GT? I know the decision is mine, but just looking for some input and experience. [ December 31, 2006, 11:39 AM: Message edited by: n8y8 ]

I think the 94/95 are the best year. They have a badass look and a 5.0L, can't ask for anything more.

i would say for 5500 or even 5000 if you get him down. thats a solid start. for an everyday car. a SN is way better. rear disc...ABS...it feels more solid, you have damn near an 04 interior. ive had my fair share of foxes...SEE SIG...as far as performance. i would say foxes are faster mainly because of weight. my vert on sacs scale was 3,580 with 1/4 tank, no driver. and the fact that they have the shift or tip in timing retard to protect the trannys while shifting. other than that. if you were lookin to put some money in to a NICE strret strip car that your gonna drive everyday as i do mine. a 94/95 is whats up.....

switch it up and jump into an sn95. You can also pick up better deals on the 96-98 4.6's and find a used PI kit for around $350ish.

I loved my 94. Very comfortable and fun to drive. They weigh more than a fox. It was easy to work on (like a fox). Mine with 373 gears, exhaust (headers back) and an RPM upper/lower intake got a 14.2 in the 1/4. Not super impressive, but it was still a good looking car that was run on the streets.
The one in the ad looks nice, wouldn't hurt to take a test drive and see how you like it.

I had a 94 and now a 95. I like the styling of the SN's, but would also consider a fox. Maybe you should test drive one first.

i've yet to drive a 94/95 sn car but thats the years i'd get. there easily moddable just like their fox cousins. Plus you get the newer interior and ride comfort along with rear discs/5 lug for more wheel options.
I buddy of mine had a killer 95 with a FI 331 that was a screamer.

If it has a clean title and proof of engine rebuild I'd buy it Nate dont forget to get proff of the new tranny too. I've driven only one 1994 5.0 but remember it being pretty damn fast.

I used to have a 95gt and loved it. I remember driving an 01 cobra right after i sold it and not being impressed at all. I've saw a stock 95 or 94(i'm not sure) gt go high 13s at infineon last year. Good luck [ January 02, 2007, 06:07 PM: Message edited by: Jmir018 ]
