I have the same size tires on my rear N no rub no matter how fast I take a turn. Quadshocks are only meant for wheelhop if I remember right. If you have upgraded upper/lower control arms you don't need to run them, I don't.

i run them, flipped my quad shocks but it was still rubbing on the inner fenderwell by the top of the shock. took a sledge hammer to it for a bit and no more rub. im also running a 17/9 inch rim though, i am pretty sure with anything widder or shorter you have the yank the quad shocks.

My understanding is with the after market arms, you can remove the quad shocks.
However when I installed my BBK lowers, I kept the quads as well with (4lug) 275 40 17s. The wheels did rub on the quad shock and wheel wells but only when making hard turns. [ February 21, 2012, 11:44 AM: Message edited by: RAP66 ]

Like others said, you don't need the quad shocks.

There is a company that sells aftermarket quadshocks that are inverted to allow the use of wider tires. Can't remember the brand off hand but I used to use them.
