are coupe rear wheel wells really smaller as they say or is it just a myth. anybody really measure them to see for sure from outside lip to inner well.

if that were the case, convertibles would be the same.
but I dunno dude, I have zero problems with my 275's on a 9" rim with foxbody length axles...

Just to add to the myth, I have heard that this is the order from widest to narrowest: LX hatch, GT hatch, LX coupe, GT/LX convertible.
