Anyway, it's a 04 Comp Orange Cobra. Coolest car I have ever driven, very smooth, and very fast. Traded my TL in on it, and my payment didn't go up much! It has Bassani cat back, Bassani cat/X, 2.76/idler, and a Steeda cold air, and a MAF of some kind, it is metal with a welded on sampling plug. I found out the car made 460 untuned pulling timing, and runs lean, so I am a little worried on the motor, but it idles good, got 16 mpg on my first full tank (one day lol), and rips. I am hoping the motor is alright, as I am sure the stock tune pulls timing and tries to keep it safe. Jeff S any other tuners, know what to look for to make sure I am not walking soon? I'll post pics as soon as I get it lowered next week.

So you mean to tell me you are driving around an untuned Cobra with a 2.76" pulley on there I would NOT romp on it too much, you are just asking for trouble. GET IT TUNED ASAP man, no joking around....

He's right! A 2.76 NEEDS a tune. However, are ya sure that it's not tuned?...460 is about right for a non-ported, tuned Terminator with a 2.76 pulley and your supporting mods. Tune it anyways if you're not sure...oh, and port your bloser and join the 500/500 club.
BTW, congrats on your new ride...comp orange it bad ass. [ March 06, 2006, 06:28 PM: Message edited by: RixSikCobra ]

You might want to make sure you have a tune before flogging on it.

Yea tell me about it guys, I CANNOT sleep worrying about it. I am bout to change the plugs, and it is not moving till tomorrow when it goes straight to the dyno. I have no damn clue why the previous owner did all this work and didn't tune it, but the motor seems to run alright. I don't see any blown head gasket vitals, and its getting almost 17 mpg, that was WITH me beating the shit out of it till I found out it is lean. We shall see what it makes tomorrow, I'll post the dyno #s when I get back. Also, pics will be when I get it slammed, springs were ordered today. So you will just have to wait till it is pretty on Saturday... here is a pic a friend took of the previous owner, this is my car, not one that looks like it, I just didn't own it when this pic was taken. http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=60456

Changed the plugs last night after that last post, they all looked good. Can tell the car was a little lean, but I was fed some BS cause it isn't extremely lean unless there are spark plugs missing... my 86 has gone through 5 or 6, but I run it on the ragged edge on pump gas, this is just a little street car. Car fired right up with new plugs, I think its gonna run alright. Again, will post pics when I drop it and dyno sheets tonight! Thanks again guys!
