This is a rod that is used to open and close a skylight in my house. Some roofing guys fucked up the worm gear and broke a couple of teeth on it. I need to find a place that will put a new worm gear on this rod.
Anyone know where I can take it to get it fixed?

best bet is to hit up lowes or home depot if they cant they will know of or die tryin to find someone who can, its part of the whole cust serv thing and if someone shrugs thier shoulders ask for a manager then tell him youalways shop there and theyve never not been able to answer a question or find a solution for you the manager will eat that shit up and will die before he cant fix your prob.....good luck

It's the origional skylight that was put in the house back in 1946

I had one guy come over and look at it. He wanted to replace the whole thing
I might try calling another one but I was hoping that some one would be able to fab something up for me real quick.
Probably just need to cut the rod and weld in a new worm gear.
Anyone else?
