Another option is to rent a trailer (maybe someone on this site has one) and tow it yourself (assuming you can get ahold of a pickup).
You should join AAA and become a "plus" member. 1st 100 miles of a tow is free

Unless Steve has alot of time on his hands renting a trailer is alot of hassle. If he was going to rent a trailer.. just do a 1 way rental and drop it off at Sac after he drops of the car. [ January 02, 2006, 11:10 AM: Message edited by: Apexmotorsports ]

A trailer would be alot cheaper. You could even rent a small U-haul with a tow dollie.

I love my AAA plus membership, had to use it Sunday morning.
