summits house brand of there cheap copied part is peeing lol itself! I will be replacing this part after that stream hit the fan on a 72 dodge challenger with a 440 built by turbo 50. he only built the long block, this problem has nothing to do with him. The problem is summits poor quality control on this water pump housing, all pullys and brakets are march billet aluminum ,with a freshly painted yellow engine bay, with aluminum everything on the motor possible. Nothing worse than antifreeze spewing all over the engine and engine bay.....unless you ask Iron50!!

If it is a summit brand. It is made in the USA. I have never had anything summit brand, be anything but a great products. Sorry you got a bad piece. More than likely, caused by a air pocket in the casting.

then i guess im just that guy that got bad luck, I kinda thought summits house brand stuff got better. ive hAD A NUMBER OF PROBLEMS WITH THERE HOUSE BRAND STUFF OVER THE YEARS. I TOOK ANOTHER CHANCE THIS TIME AS WELL. they are giving me 200 hundred buck for my down time though, that was cool for a hour long conversation i guess.
