Today is Guns and Coffee day at StarBucks. An Anti-Gun Group is boycotting StarBucks today so of course Gun Groups are promoting buying coffee at StarBucks, Sacramento Black Rifle was buying Coffee for anyone who showed up for Coffee in an S.B.R. shirt at a StarBucks up in Sac.

I hope not. It became illegal in CA to open carry on Jan 1. Because we all know the people legally following the original open carry law were the people causing all the crime. Not the guys with a POS Hi-Point, sawed off shotgun or the Mack 10 hidden were doing anything.

What those boneheads in Sacramento don't realize is, they have have unwittingly helped us in the fight to get shall-issue CCW. In Peruta vs San Diego County, the judge dismissed the case because at the time, California law allowed for open carry. Now that the law has taken effect, the case has been appealed. Expect this to make it all the way to the Supreme Court.

^ So they think it's better to have non armed citizens over armed ones who can better protect themselves.
I wonder how many more people have been robbed leaving those stores listed over Starbucks? I would love to see real data to back up their anti gun ideology.
