what makes it better than other x pipes?..any noticable gain?..how about the sound vs a h pipe?..this will be with longtubes and a mac catback

i heard it gives your car lots of gas
but on a real note i use to have it on my 00 gt and it sounded really nice and loud at full throttle.

I think the biggest difference is they are a "true" x-pipe; BBK's for example, are not.
Honestly, the Dr. Gas x-pipe sounds more like H-pipe IMO.. Depends on your mufflers too.
