Has anyone ever put foxbody struts in a new edge mustang? Or does anyone know the advantages and disadvantages of doing this?

Shorter shaft legnth. It's good for lowered cars, so you aren't sitting compressed stroke all the time.

u can do that as long as you are 5 lug i think. I have 03/04 cobra bilstiens front and back on my 82, but i have the cobra spindles and IRS. If you have stock 4 lug, i think the struts wont fit on the stock spindles but I may be mistaken. It didnt fit on my old 85 coupe when I tried putting konis off a 95 gt on the stock 4 lug spindles. The spindle was too fat. But if you have 5 lug, then they will bolt right on. I havent seen any disadvantages. They have been on my car over a year and i love how it feels & handles.

I wouldn't do this unless you are building a 4x4 or like harsh ride. Again, they will bolt up, but at normal ride height you are using up most of the struts stroke.

if your going to run Bilstein, with the shocks its a little different story, and will give you almost half an inch more bump travel over fox shocks heres a link: http://www.maximummotorsports.com/tech_struts_shocks_sn95shocks_foxchassis.aspx
im currently running 94-04 bilstein dampers on my fox and the ride quality is superb
87-04 bilstein struts are identical which follows OEM SN95 strut geometry [ 2014-06-10, 06:14 PM: Message edited by: Saleen 00-0768 ]
