I have some hardwater spots on my car winshield. At night it gets kinda hard to see with lights from oncomming traffic. Anyone know of some good stuff to get rid of the spots

I think it's called nothing better water stain remover. It is a paste, works great. you can also use #0000 steel wool.

Its hard to tell without seing, but if its a windshield with yrs of pits and chips it may be better off replacing. Side windows can usually be fixed up with above said ideas...maybe a straight edge razorblade for starters. Few things are better than a new windshield though.
