Just wondering if anyone here does data analytics or data visualization in their role as a profession. I.E. Advanced Excel, R, or Tableau.
Anyone?!

I Project Manage with the IS group and have performed data analytics, normalization and migrations. I have not had the pleasure of using Tableau. What's going on?

Just curious if anyone on Cafords has a job role that pertains to analytics. Data viz is appearing to be more in demand, especially with interactive charting (i.e. Tableau). [ 2014-01-29, 09:16 PM: Message edited by: TMA Turbo Donald ]

Data Analytics is at the core of any sizable organizations' 'health' strategy. The need for visualizers is increasing due to M&A's resulting in data convergence between disparate databases, data mining for BI/Marketing programs, as well as integrations with cloud services/applications to name a few. If you are in a role that is responsible for data it would be beneficial to get experience with visualizer apps or services. I have used both from Informatica. Sorry for the long response, but this is where I have played for the past few years. Let me know if you are interested in chatting on a call. Would like to know what you are working on
