Take it from me guys. If you can afford to rent you can afford to buy. I'm 25 and moving into my house today and tomorrow. All on an individual low salary. If you have the $$ don't miss the chance to own in todays market. -Joe.

Yea if you can afford to rent then yea you can afford to buy , my wife is looking at a house behind my rental house to purchase that one because it's a buyers market

yeah well it all depends where u want to live at cuz even if u can afford a 3k monthly but dont have crap in your bank account good luck trying to get approved on a loan for a house in a decent area in the bay area on 0 down. 20% down is the norm these days unless u get into a FHA. if we're talking about the boonies then thats a different story cuz u can buy $150k homes all day on the outskirts..
