i posted this on tech talk but got nothing, i'm just curious and not planning on doing it to any of my cars, but i was looking around the net and ran across people using atf (automatic transmission fluid) in there gas tanks to clean the injectors and valves, i know it works great on diesel engines, but i was reading that it also works great on gas engines, is this true? i always have use seafoam to clean shit out from my engine, but is atf really better?

ive done atf in the mtor with a new filter and let it idle only for about 10 min to clean it up. then change it back with regular. it does work. ive done it on a few cars working at a lube shop. i dont know ife ide want to put it in my gas tank tho. ill stick to seafoam for that.
