do u use a car duster on ur nice paint job? anything bad about using these? 1 of my boys says it can leave fine scratches??? any truth to that? what yall think of the original california car duster vs. them new microfiber dusters out now?

nick i used them and havent had a problem. i think it really depends on how clean you keep your duster and whether it actually gets washed. i can imagine it leaving scratches after using it on dirty cars.

they don't leave scratches unless your pushing down on the paint.

i've been using one on all of my cars for years. use it for only taking off dust/pollen really... anything else might not be good for the paint or the brush.

On the average paint job, such as a new car, sure as long as you're just removing dust on a clean car. Would I drive the car for a week and then use a duster over it? HELL NO.
On a show car with a 10k paint job would I use a duster, Nope.
But I'm pretty perticular when it comes to the paint on my cars.
