Thanks bro. I would trade it for your 86 in a heart beat if we could swap drive trains... I LOVE 4 eye cars...

Couldn't do that. I have TOO much into this car. H/C/I swap, 5 lug swap etc... I love the look of the 86, & yours is super clean, but the performance of an 86 isn't much to speak of...

Thanks bro. Its FAR from done, but I'm enjoying it for now. Next up is a small Paxton Novi 1000 I got a good deal on, & see how long it takes me to blow up the stock bottom end, or T5, whichever goes 1st LOL...
How long did you have the car again btw? Somebody kept this thing in great shape...

I bought the car from the original owner. I then did a complete service, repaired a few things, painted all the trim and cleaned it very through and then sold it. I had it for 1 month I sold it before I even recieved the new title. Once the title came I called the dude that bought it from me and I gave it to him. It was a great find for me. I drove down to San Louis Obispo (sp) late one night to buy it at about 2am and drove straight home. It was 100% original besides the mufflers. Supercharger will be nice once I added mine I picked up about 100rwhp. I had the novi 2k with a tremec behind it.

You did a damn good job on the trim. So was the original owner an older person?

Thanks. I have always wondered what type of life this car had? I always wondered if it was a commuter, or a weekend cruiser? It has 173k miles on the clock, so its see the road quite a bit. I'm pretty sure its been repainted once too. Did it have the ding in the center of the roof when you had it?

Honestly when i picked it up it didnt look like it had that much mileage on it although it did. It was in very clean original shape and from my understanding it was used as a daily driver for the married couple. It did not have a ding on it when I had it. It was def. a awesome start for a coupe because of the originality and thats why I bought it. I didn't even offer I paid full price what he wanted cash. It was one of my favorites, i just hated the automatic. The only thing that almost kept me from buying it was when I testd drove it a check engine light was on and it worried me but it ended up being nothing. A 02 sensor if I remember correctly.

Oh ok. Well I wonder how the ding in the center of the roof got there? Its definitely a great fox. I hated the automatic too, but I knew that wouldn't be in the car long. The original motor & trans were in great shape too, but I think I swapped them both out within 2-3 months of ownership for a 5 speed & HCI setup. I also hated the red interior at 1st, but its in such great shape that it grew on me & now I love it....
