same here. and its an amazing shotgun. Nice design to it, light, and handles ANY 12g shell. 3 1/2 slugs kick nicely.

depends on your plans for it. Mossbergs are great if your going to pretty much leave it alone for the most part but if you want to get all tactical a remington 870 is pretty much the small block chevy of shotguns since every tactical outlet makes all kinds of stocks grips etc(check out magpul and mesa tactical).

Im assuming due to your price range your talking about a pump. if your decide to break some more $$ and want a semi auto, we can talk more then.

I will admit moss berg does have some funny stuff:
