If by "Rice rocket" you mean it finally sounds like an efficient DOHC V6 making decent power, then yes, I agree with you...
I think it sounds amazingly better than ANY previous generation V6 Mustang or Camaro... and considering it's the most fuel efficient Mustang ever built, and the first car from ANY manufacturer to pull 300+hp and 31MPG...
I can't wait to see what this thing does with a little boost...
I agree with you 100% I think its a great car and I'm glad ford built it BUT all I said is I'm not a big fan of the exhaust note of the V6, as a kid the deep rumble of a V8 is what made me start liking muscle cars and mustangs in particular

probably, in the comments they also mention it's the base package v6, not the performance pack with better gears/tires

They are both manual. If you watch it, it says how the v6 starts to pull in 3rd gear.

the auto is a 6spd, chicks hands were both on the wheel in the last race.
