well if vera fights silvia like they are talking about im sure he will lose his tilte silvia sucks he is just hella big., i think vera would beat him pretty easily

i agree Silvia does suck. He doesn't look like hes even done any training at all. Hes only the champion because everyone he fights is scared of him. The title fights with him in them always suck.

i don't know about people he fights being scared of him.. They have really nothing to be scared about.. it's mostly the disavantage their at. look at poor monson.. he's not great by any means.. but, when he finally took him down.. he could not even reach silvia's face.. how can you fight like that. Vera has a better chance because he's 6'3" against a 6"8.. 5"9 vs 6"8 with a 10" reach advantage is a joke.

no i am not talking about his muscle mass i know hes strong i am talking about the huge tire he carries around his waist. Frank Mir's first fight back i thought Frank Mir was a piece of crap, his fat was hanging down past his shorts. I think they should make a rule if you aren't in shape you can't take your shirt off to fight. lol

who says he's not in shape.. how do you define "shape".. not having body fat is not being in shape..he probably has a much better cardio than you. that is cardivascular shape.. so he IS in shape..

if we talk cardio look at mir last fight the one before vera where he was fatter and he gassed so fast. that was a shitty fiht too.silvia just has reach and power. no ground skills. when he gets on his back he looks like hes stuck and cant get up.

I agree with every point you have. i never said Mir was in good shape. and i never said Silvia is any more qualified to fight than Barney... i don't see where you are going with your comment...

dude, u mustve missed the part when sylvia was rolling on the ground with monson, who is a abu dhabi grappling world champ. sylvia pretty much neutralized every move of monson on the ground and even nearly caught him with a triangle so i wouldnt say sylvia has no ground game.
reason syvlia is hated so much is his style of fighting often times is boring to watch and he plays more of a defensive fight, squeezing out decisions. the guy has a lot of skill relative to what we see in the ufc hw division. vera has a good chance of winning by kicking the shit out of sylvia's thigh.

yeah when i saw that fight i thought he wasn't a real fighter and i was surprised they they said he was the heavy weight champion or something.

jmir wasnt coming at you sideways at all just saying mir to me is terrible and in no shapand as for silvia i meant when he is on the ground and no one is on him he looks like a tut\rtle on his back who cant flip over. yes his fights can be boring unless he is striking which i like i just think when he does fight vera he will lose.
