Actually i don't think the other person really gets to keep the car. I think its just to make it more dramatic.
Incorrect, the kid actually spent time in the hospital right afterward for depression.

Thats what i have heard but i don't believe stuff like that without seeing physical proof.
EDIT: also if he was that sad about it i think he would have started crying before he got back to the starting line.

The kid is claiming he bought the car back for $300.
The T/A owner isnt saying how much he sold it for but did say it was enough to pay for his transmission and then some.

What they didn't show was the former owner collapsing to his knees when I took his car down the track and yes he was crying. They had to take the kid to the hospital that evening he basicly had a nervous breakdown. I did feel bad and sold him the car back two days later for less than it was worth but enough that he felt some pain. but not untill i ragged it on the dyno. I seriosly hope the kid doesn't kill himself the ricer boys are dogging him bad on the boards.

If I won it I would sell it on the ricer board and make some cash that is the whole point of racing for pinks. Cry or not I never knew him nor did I care for him so he could do whatever he wanted with himself a win is a win in my book
